Tai Roun Products Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 612.597 million compared to TWD 573.904 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 13.556 million compared to TWD 17.691 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 9.106 million compared to TWD 32.735 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.05 compared to TWD 0.18 a year ago.
TAIROUN PRODUCTS CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of feedstuff, fructose products, corn starches and aquatic products. The Company operates through seven segments. Feedstuff segment provides feedstuff for pig, chicken, fish and shrimp. Fructose Products segment mainly provides high fructose syrups. Starches segment provides corn starches, corn gluten meal, corn germs and corn bran. Aquatic Products Trading segment is engaged in the trading of aquatic products. Olive segment is engaged in the trading of olives. Frozen Broiled Eel segment is engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of frozen broiled eels. Others segment is engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of other agricultural products and frozen foods, as well as the leasing of kitchens. The Company operates businesses in Taiwan, China and Japan.
