COLOGNE (dpa-AFX) - Advertising marketer Ströer performed significantly stronger than the overall outdoor advertising market in Germany in the first eleven months of last year. While overall outdoor advertising grew by 2.7 percent, Ströer's outdoor advertising sales showed double-digit growth in total, the Cologne-based company said on Friday. According to estimates by market researcher Nielsen, the overall advertising market - i.e. including TV, print and online advertising - contracted by 3.1 percent in the same period. According to the statement, Ströer expects the company's development to remain positive in 2023 despite recessionary trends in Germany. The MDax-listed stock initially rose by around 2 percent after the announcement, but gains recently crumbled back to 0.3 percent./men/mis
