Stanmore Coal offers an opportunity to invest in a growing
coal exploration and development company located in the
heart of Queensland's coal country.
Stanmore Coal is targetting production of seven million
tonnes per annum of open pit coal by 2015 from an existing
JORC Inferred Resource of 318 million tonnes and further
upside from multiple exploration projects which are all 100
percent owned.
Pure play coal company focussed on world class
regions
Stanmore Coal offers an attractive entry point into the
coal sector in Australia with a diversified portfolio of
development and exploration properties that will produce
coking, thermal and PCI coal.
All of the exploration projects are situated in
Queensland's Bowen Basin, a major supplier of some of
the world's best coking, PCI and thermal coal
Seven million tonnes production from two development
projects by 2015
Stanmore Coal has two development projects - the
Mackenzie coking coal project in the Bowen Basin and The
Range export thermal coal project in the Surat Basin
Pre-Feasibility studies are targeted to be completed on
both projects by end 2011
Both development projects are targeting production by
2015 at a combined rate of seven million tonnes per annum
Projects close to export infrastructure
Stanmore Coal's EPCs are very well located for rail
infrastructure which provides access to the export ports
at Gladstone and Dalrymple Bay
Stanmore has submitted applications for access to Wiggins
Island Coal Terminal Stage 2 and for access to key rail
lines
Significant exploration upside
Portfolio of over 1,080km2 of highly prospective, granted
exploration tenements of which 90 percent sits within
Queensland's prime Bowen Basin coal region
Additional exploration target of 290 - 370 million tonnes
at Mackenzie and Tennyson
Additional potential upside via Kerlong, Belview and New
Cambria projects yet to be assessed for tonnage targets
Further exploration targets are under EPC application
Highly experienced Board and management focussed on growth
The Board and management team have a proven track record
in the identification, exploration, development and
operation of numerous coal prospects and mines in
Queensland and NSW; as well as the formation of a number
of successful coal and coal seam gas companies
The Board and Management of Stanmore Coal have a
successful track record in mergers and acquisitions which
will complement Stanmore Coal's planned corporate
growth
Stanmore Coal believes it can create value via
identification and delivery of logical acquisitions such
as Comet Coal & Coke, acquired in September 2009
Fully funded
Stanmore Coal raised $25.7 million in late 2010, this
will allow the completion the Pre Feasibility Study at
The Range and Mackenzie and drilling at all of the
exploration projects. Existing funding will also be used
to secure access to key infrastructure for the two
development projects.
