CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Long-time Sonic Automotive, Inc. director, Robert L. Rewey, passed away on November 29, 2014.
Mr. Rewey, 76, served on the Sonic Automotive, Inc. Board of Directors since December 2001. Mr. Rewey previously retired from Ford Motor Company in April 2001 holding the position of Group Vice President of North American Operations and Global Sales, Marketing and Consumer Services. During a distinguished 38-year career with Ford, Mr. Rewey held several other significant positions within the company, including President of the Ford Division and President of the Lincoln Mercury Division.
