Business description: SoftBank Group Corp.

SoftBank Group Corp is a Japan-based company principally engaged in the communication and Internet related business. The Company operates through four segments. The Holding Company Investment Business segment is engaged in investment activities in a wide range of domestic and international sectors, either directly or through subsidiaries, primarily as a strategic investment holding company. The SoftBank Vision Fund Business segment is engaged in investment activities mainly in the technology sector. The SoftBank Business segment is primarily engaged in the provision of services, sales of mobile handsets, broadband and solution services, media and advertising, commerce services, payments, and financial services. The ARM Business segment is engaged in designing instruction pointers (IP) and related technologies for microprocessors, selling software tools, and providing related services. The Company also operates Fortress and Fukuoka Softbank Hawks related businesses.
