The board of directors of Sinopec Oilfield Service Corporation announced that, on 22 January 2018, it has received the resignation letter from Mr. Zhou Shiliang in which he (i) resigned his position as an executive director of the company, a member of the Strategy Committee of the board and the Deputy General Manager of the company due to his age. The board has accepted Mr. Zhou's resignation In the meantime, the board has agreed to withdraw the nomination of Mr. Zhou as a candidate for an executive director of the 9th Session of the board and therefore he will no longer be a candidate for an executive director of the company subject to the election on the first extraordinary general meeting to be convened on 8 February 2018. On 22 January 2018, China Petrochemical Corporation, which holds 65.22% share interests in the company, nominated Mr. Chen Xikun as a candidate of an executive director of the 9th Session of the board. In January 2003, he was appointed as the chief accountant of Sinopec Jiangsu Oilfield Branch company; in April 2006, he was appointed as deputy manager and chief accountant of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Branch Company; in December 2008, he was appointed as deputy general manager and chief accountant of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Branch Company; in December 2011, he was appointed as chief accountant of Sinopec Exploration & Production Department; since March 2015, he acted as deputy general director of Sinopec Exploration & Production Department; since June 2015, he acted as director of Sinopec Oilfield Equipment Corporation; since June 2017, he was appointed as executive deputy general manager of the company; in January 2018, he was appointed as the Secretary of CPC Committee of the company.
