Silicon Optronics, Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 682.14 million compared to TWD 923.36 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 104.88 million compared to TWD 118.03 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.36 compared to TWD 1.53 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.35 compared to TWD 1.52 a year ago.
Silicon Optronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development and distribution of complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors and modules. The Company's products include Video Graphics Array (VGA) area CMOS image sensors, high definition (HD) /Full HD area CMOS image sensors, two Mb/five Mb/eight Mb area CMOS image sensors and 1200/2400 dots per inch (dpi) linear CMOS image sensor/modules. The Company's products are applied in digital cameras, mobile phones, surveillance cameras and other image scanning products. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
