Samyung Trading Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 661.79 million compared to KRW 1,072.8 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 9,810.92 million compared to KRW 10,862.58 million a year ago. Samyung Trading Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the distribution of chemical and related products. The Company operates its business through three segments: chemical segment which provides organic and inorganic chemical products such as paints, paint thinners, inks, glues, binders and photo gravure printing chemicals, synthetic leather, urethane and other synthetic resins, medical compositions, chemical reagents, metal detergents and solvents; lens segment which mainly produces and distributes ophthalmic lens and other segment which manufactures and distributes crystal oscillator bases along with its subsidiary Sammyung Precision(Jiaxing) Co.,Ltd., and distributes automobile interior and exterior parts including radiator grilles, emblems, moldings and other lettering works.
