128 Technology announced that Sejong Telecom has selected Snet Systems to offer a highly reliable and secure managed SD-WAN service, called SWAN, powered by 128 Technology’s Session Smart Router. Snet Systems and Sejong Telecom, a key telecommunication carrier with a nationwide optical communication network in Korea, will collaborate to provide enterprise customers with faster, more reliable access, traffic exchanges and lower costs in the cloud. Snet Systems will provide its SWAN solution to Sejong Telecom, which will offer Snet its next generation communication infrastructure to explore new business opportunities. The two companies will cooperate to provide sales and technical support. They will also collaborate on joint domestic projects where Sejong Telecom participates as a new service. Snet Systems announced in October 2019 it would join the 128 Technology Solution Partner Program, which enables service providers to create new revenue streams by leveraging 128 Technology’s 128T Networking Platform. Snet and Sejong Telecom will gain several key benefits, including better connectivity for mission-critical applications, enhanced security based on a “Zero-Trust” model, reduced operations costs from eliminating firewalls and VPNs and by reducing cloud rental costs, reasonable service pricing and better network functionality for edge locations.
