Rexel has appointed Bertrand de Clermont Tonnerre as Sustainable Development Director, as of February 1, 2015.

Bertrand de Clermont Tonnerre will continue to reduce the Group's environmental impacts and will work towards increasing the customer value proposition, by building a responsible procurement policy and highlighting the environmental benefits associated with Rexel's offer, notably through partnerships. He will stimulate societal innovation with the support of the Rexel Foundation's initiatives and will enrich the dialogue with all stakeholders on corporate responsibility issues.

Bertrand de Clermont Tonnerre is Sustainable Development Director for the Rexel Group. After 10 years spent in London and Paris within finance departments of Danone and LVMH, Bertrand de Clermont Tonnerre joined Rexel in 1997 as Financial Controller. In 2001, he became Group Internal Audit Director, before being appointed Project Director for Rexel France in 2005. After being appointed Director for Integration and Acquisitions in 2007, he became Director of Strategic Planning in 2009.

Bertrand de Clermont Tonnerre is a graduate from NEOMA (previously Rouen Business School).
