Repsol, S.A. is planning to sell its La Pampilla refinery, 200 petrol stations and the Solgas liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Peru to raise $400 million, El Economista said on January 5, 2013. The company is presently trying to sell its liquefied natural gas assets in Canada, Trinidad and Tobago and Peru for boosting its finances and protect its credit rating. The operating profit from the LNG division of the company rose by 75% to 189 million.
