Interim Financial Statements for the Period Ended 31st December 2021
Analysis on Statement of Financial Position
Total Assets
Total Assets of the Group have increased by Rs. 1,197 Mn from Rs. 5,908 Mn as at 31st March 2021 to Rs. 7,105 Mn as at 31st December 2021. Total Non Current Assets were Rs. 3,670 Mn and Total Current Assets were Rs. 3,435 Mn as at 31st December 2021.
Equity Attributable to Owners of the Company
Equity attributable to Owners of the Company increased by Rs. 243 Mn from Rs. 3,061 Mn as at 31st March 2021 to Rs. 3,304 Mn as at 31st December 2021.
Net Asset Value Per Share (NAVPS)
The NAVPS increased to Rs. 5.88 as at 31st December 2021 compared with Rs. 5.45 per share recorded as at 31st March 2021.
Analysis on Statement of Profit or Loss and Other Comprehensive Income
Revenue | Expenses |Profit / (Loss) After Tax
Group revenue increased by 112.3% to Rs. 1,682 Mn for the quarter ended 31st December 2021 compared with Rs. 792 Mn in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The composition of the Group Revenue for the quarter is 90.8% from export revenue and 9.2% from local revenue.
Total direct and other operational expenses have increased by 77% to Rs. 1,444 Mn for the quarter ended 31st December 2021 compared with Rs. 817 Mn in the comparable period in the previous year.
Profit / (Loss) After Tax
The Group reported a profit for the period amounting to Rs. 204 Mn for the quarter ended 31st December 2021 compared with the loss of Rs. 112 Mn reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Earnings / (Loss) Per Share
Earnings per Share was Rs. 0.33 for the quarter ended 31st December 2021, compared with Loss per Share of Rs. 0.20 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
