PIMCO High Income Fund reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2012. For the quarter, net investment income was $32,366,031 or $0.27 per common share against $27,290,014 or $0.22 per common share a year ago. Net realized and change in unrealized Gain was $31,182,426 or $0.26 per common share against net realized and change in unrealized loss of $8,828,713 or $0.05 per common share a year ago.
For the nine months, net investment income was $85,363,239 or $0.70 per common share against $90,044,262 or $0.74 per common share a year ago. Net realized and change in unrealized Gain was $119,500,294 or $1.00 per common share against net realized and change in unrealized loss of $221,358,709 or $1.79 per common share a year ago. As on December 31, 2012, net asset value was $8.47 against $7.27 and loss per common share was $0.1957 against income per common share of $0.0680.
