On May 3, 2023, Philip Morris International Inc. (the "Company") held its Annual
Meeting of Shareholders ("Annual Meeting"). On the record date of March 10,
2023, there were 1,552,147,867 shares of common stock issued and outstanding. At
the Annual Meeting a quorum of 1,256,124,465 shares of common stock was
represented in person or by proxy. The matters voted upon at the Annual Meeting
and the results of such voting are set forth below:

Proposal 1: Election of Directors of the Company.

On an advisory basis, shareholders approved holding an advisory vote on the
compensation of our named executive officers every 1 year. In light of the
result of this advisory vote, and the recommendation by the Company's Board of
Directors that shareholders vote to hold future advisory votes on named
executive officer compensation each year, the Company will hold such vote each
year until the next required vote on the frequency of shareholder votes on named
executive officer compensation.
