Odyne Corporation (Odyne) develops and manufactures propulsion systems for advanced plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) for medium and heavy-duty trucks and buses by integrating its electric power conversion, electric power control and energy storage systems with a range of off-the-shelf components including electric motors and storage batteries. The Company’s PHEV systems are either series or parallel configuration hybrids that are optimized for different applications. Odyne’s PHEV systems are series configuration hybrids. It provides a hybrid propulsion system consisting of a control area network, appropriate driver interface controls and a selection of other components. The Company has developed a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle propulsion system for Class 6, 7 and 8 trucks and buses that encompasses battery and thermal management technology, system architecture and modular/scalable configuration.
