Nuveen Variable Rate Preferred & Income Fund Share Price

Nuveen Variable Rate Preferred & Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide a high level of current income and total return. The Fund invests at least 80% of its Assets in variable rate preferred securities and other variable rate income producing securities. The Fund invests at least 50% of its Managed Assets in securities that are rated investment grade or are unrated but judged to be of comparable quality by the Fund’s sub-adviser. The Fund may invest up to 20% of its Managed Assets in contingent capital securities or contingent convertible securities. The Fund may invest up to 15% of its Managed Assets in companies located in emerging market countries. The Fund will invest more than 25% of its Managed Assets in the securities of companies principally engaged in the financial services sector.
