NorthWestern Corp : NorthWestern Energy Plans Outage in Portage, Floweree Areas on Jan. 16

Butte, Mont. - Jan. 13, 2014 - NorthWestern Energy is planning a power outage in the Portage and Floweree areas north of Great Falls on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014.
The outage will begin at 9 a.m. and should be over by 11 a.m. Thursday. About 630 customers will be affected by the brief outage.
NorthWestern crews will be doing maintenance and upgrade work at the Portage Substation and need the outage to complete the work quickly and safely. NorthWestern Energy is in the midst of a significant proactive upgrade of its electric infrastructure across Montana. The upgrade involves substations, power poles, underground electric lines, natural gas systems, tree trimming and other initiatives.
