NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nissan Americas has appointed Yuri Rodrigues to the role of vice president, Total Customer Satisfaction and Chief Customer Satisfaction Officer, Americas, effective August 1.

In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing product safety, product quality and customer satisfaction efforts in the Americas region.

Since October 2020, Rodrigues has served as region vice president, Total Customer Satisfaction and Chief Customer Satisfaction Officer, Nissan Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceana (AMIEO). Rodrigues replaces James Moss who is promotedOpens in a new tab. to the position of corporate vice president, Total Customer Satisfaction, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., based in Yokohama, Japan.

'James has played an instrumental role in leading strong improvements in product quality in spite of challenges caused by the pandemic and supply chain disruptions since taking on his role in 2020,' said Jeremie Papin, chairperson, Nissan Americas. 'Even more importantly, he's been a champion for our internal culture transformation. We are grateful for his contributions during his time here.'

Rodrigues joined Nissan in 2011 as a director overseeing product quality and customer satisfaction in Brazil. After expanding that role to include Latin America, he took the role of global chief quality engineer for INFINITI based in Japan.
