National Development Bank PLC announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced net interest income was LKR 5,243.733 million compared to LKR 4,540.986 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 1,733.009 million compared to LKR 1,121.398 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 7.08 compared to LKR 4.82 a year ago. For the half year, net interest income was LKR 10,407.281 million compared to LKR 8,920.951 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 4,095.966 million compared to LKR 2,364.115 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 16.72 compared to LKR 10.16 a year ago.
