National Development Bank PLC reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was LKR 7,322.58 million compared to LKR 5,609.76 million a year ago. Net loss was LKR 1,083.46 million compared to net income of LKR 1,872.11 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was LKR 2.7118 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of LKR 6.0613 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was LKR 2.7118 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of LKR 6.0613 a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest income was LKR 22,413.03 million compared to LKR 16,017.04 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 641.3 million compared to LKR 5,968.08 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 1.6081 compared to LKR 19.3105 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 1.6081 compared to LKR 19.3105 a year ago.
