Metavisio (Thomson Computing) announces the creation of a subsidiary in India, Metavisio India, in order to respond to the Indian government's calls for tenders for Tablets, Notebooks and Servers.

Stéphan Français, Metavisio's CEO, has also signed a distribution contract for the Thomson brand with a local Indian distribution company specializing in public markets.

The chance given to Metavisio with the Thomson brand is mainly due to the Indian government's recent decision to ban Chinese brands from public markets", the company points out.

Thanks to this opportunity, Metavisio estimates that it will be able to recoup between $20 and $200 million in orders from the Indian government for IT products in 2023, and even more in subsequent years.

In addition, with the assistance of US investment bank BCW Securities LLC, the company aims to raise €10 million in equity capital in March 2023, and a further €10 million by the end of July 2023 through a dual listing on Nasdaq.

Thanks to this new equity capital, Metavisio plans to continue its growth in 2023, with a recruitment program covering all 4 continents.
