NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS Adoption of Remote Voting System for Shareholders' Meetings

MAGAZINE LUIZA S.A ("Company") announces that will adopt the remote voting procedure in shareholders' meeting that will be held in April 20th 2017, in the Company's headquarters, in accordance with Article 21-A of CVM Instruction 481/2009, amended by CVM Instruction 561/2015 ("IN/CVM 481")1.

The remote voting procedure's adoption aims to promote and increase the involvement of institutional investors in the Company's General Assembly main resolutions, as well as reinforces the Company's commitment to the best practices of corporate governance.

The Company shall make available to the shareholders the guidelines required for the use of remote voting procedures in due course, upon the disclosure of the call notice of the shareholder's meeting.

Article 21-A of CVM Instruction 481/2009 establish that the remote voting procedures shall be made available by the Company within one (1) month ahead of the date scheduled for: (i) Ordinary General Shareholders' Meeting; or (ii) Extraordinary Shareholders' General Meeting, whom be called to elect Supervisory Board members or to elect Board of Directors members when the election is necessary by vacancy of the majority Board of Directors' positions, by vacancy of Board of Directors that has been elected by multiple votes or by filling of vacancies dedicated to separate election which are described in Articles 141, Paragraph 4º, and 239 of Law nº 6,404, of 1976.
