Lockheed Martin successfully integrated digital command and control (C2) capabilities into the first version of the Department of Defense's Joint Fires Network (JFN) during the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command's (INDOPACOM) Exercise Valiant Shield.

The test marks the first demonstration of the JFN's initial prototype, which enables geographically dispersed commanders to plan and execute simultaneously with a common understanding of the battlespace, fueled by diverse sensors providing targeting guidance to various weapon systems.

During the exercise, Lockheed Martin demonstrated live operational planning, coordinating real-time decision-making across all services and operational domains, improving the agility and responsiveness of joint operations.
