Lockheed Martin wins U.S. Army deal for provision of logistics support for the targeting and politage system aboard Apache D/E helicopters. The performance-based logistics contract for the Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor, or M-TADS/PNVS, will enable the system's mission readiness and reliability and reduce operation and support costs. The company said $31.8 million was obligated to it under the one-year base contract.

The award has provisions for four one-year options and has a potential overall value of $424 million. The M-TADS/PNVS system provides long-range, precision engagement and pilotage capabilities in all weather conditions.
