Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. announced 2013/2014 yearly rental fees for federal claim blocks for all Arizona exploration projects have been paid to the United States Bureau of Land Management (USBLM) from the company's operating funds account. Effective immediately, Larry Liang has resigned.

Larry was the company's president and had served on the board of directors since 2009. In his letter of resignation Liang noted that he and his wife were living in China full time and that currently he could not give full attention to his job with Liberty Star. Company CEO Jim Briscoe will act as president until a replacement is named.
