This is to apprise that one of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited's unit based at Chennai has received order for recovery of Service Tax/GST and penalties from Office of Assistant commissioner of CGST and Central excise, Guindy Division, Chennai under Section 73 of CGST/TNGST Act, 2017 and section 20 of IGST Act, 2017. Name of the authority: Office of Assistant commissioner of CGST and Central Excise, Guindy division, Chennai. Nature and details of the action taken, initiated or order passed: Demand of GST amounting to INR 2,122,013 including applicable cess under provision of section 73(1) read with 73(9) of the CGST Act, 2017/TNGST Act, 2017 read with section 20 of IGST Act; Appropriate interest under section 50 of the CGST Act, 2017/TNGST Act, 2017 read with section 20 of the IGST Act; Penalty amounting to INR 250,446 under section 73(9) read with section 73(11) of the CGST Act, 2017/TNGST Act, 2017.
