Kura Sushi Asia Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 498.668 million compared to TWD 495.451 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 8.794 million compared to operating Income of TWD 50.180 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 6.325 million compared to net income of TWD 35.076 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.17 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.96 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was TWD 0.17 compared to diluted earnings per share of TWD 0.91 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,010.439 million compared to TWD 931.529 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 14.659 million compared to operating Income of TWD 95.063 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 15.250 million compared to net income of TWD 64.940 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.4 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 1.91 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was TWD 0.4 compared to diluted earnings per share of TWD 1.8 a year ago.
