Korea Petrochemical Ind Co Ltd is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of petrochemical products. The Company operates its business through two segments. The Petrochemical segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture of synthetic resins, including polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which are used for pipes, wiring tubes, containers, household appliances, fishing nets, films and others, as well as by-products, which are used for adhesives, asphalt modifiers, coating materials, among others. The segment also produces basic raw materials including basic oil and others. The Industrial Gas segment is mainly engaged in the provision of industrial gas, such as nitrogen, oxygen, argon and others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
