Imasen Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (TSE:7266) agreed to acquire remaining 28.6% stake in Meihoku Mitsubishi Motors Sales Co., Ltd. from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (TSE:7211) on August 29, 2013. Upon completion, Meihoku Mitsubishi Motors will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Imasen Electric and change its name to Meihoku Motors Co., Ltd. The Board of Directors of Imasen Electric Industrial passed a resolution on August 29, 2013. The transaction is expected to close on October 1, 2013.
