HORNG SHIUE HOLDING Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 220.6 million compared to TWD 608.84 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 74.28 million compared to net income of TWD 16.08 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.08 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.36 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.08 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.3 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 490.35 million compared to TWD 897.67 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 111.8 million compared to net income of TWD 19.69 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.83 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.45 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.83 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.38 a year ago.
HORNG SHIUE HOLDING Co Ltd is a Cayman Islands-based company mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sale of sheet metal dies and gauges. The Company focuses on the design and manufacturing of sheet metal die of car body including the die itself, and check tools specified for inspection of sheet metal part. The main products include car structure die for domestic self brand and non-key middle and small sheet metal dies, non-key large and middle scale sheet metal dies, as well as sheet metal for key part such as the side wall, fenders, car door, motor cover and top cover.
