General Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 1,216.350 million compared to TWD 714.339 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 96.321 million compared to operating loss of TWD 133.201 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 107.189 million compared to net loss of TWD 22.614 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.84 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.18 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 2,374.849 million compared to TWD 2,053.015 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 187.191 million compared to operating loss of TWD 45.333 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 163.593 million compared to TWD 23.138 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.28 compared to TWD 0.18 a year ago.

The Operation of Machine Supplies segment is mainly engaged in the research and development, manufacture and sales of photocopiers cartridges, printer cartridges and photosensitive drum gears. The Operation of Tourist Hotels segment is mainly engaged in the arrangement of accommodation, catering and other business travel related businesses. The Company is also engaged in the sales of raw materials and accessories of toner cartridges. The Company mainly distributes its products in domestic market and overseas markets, including the United States of America (the USA), the United Kingdom (the UK), Germany, the Mainland China and others.
