Gaon Group Ltd, formerly Middle East Tube Co Ltd, is an Israel-based company active in the steel sector. The Company manufactures and markets pipes for water, sewage and oil and gas infrastructure. The main technologies used in producing pipes by Company are Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) for longitudinal seam pipes, and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) for spiral seam pipes. The Company manufactures pipes in the Tzrifin Plant. It also provides galvanization of steel pipes and other products in the Acre Facility. The Company operates two subsidiaries, Middle East Tube Industries Ltd, Middle East Tube Galvanization Ltd. It is 54.3%-owned by Gaon Agro Industries Ltd.
