FueTrek Co., Ltd. (TSE:2468) concluded a contract to acquire Media Japan Co., Ltd. from Keiji Miyazaki, Naoko Miyazaki and 10 other shareholders for approximately ¥440 million on June 19, 2017. Under the terms, 5,030 shares, representing 100% stake in Media Japan Co., Ltd. will be acquired. As of June 19, 2017, Keiji Miyazaki and Naoko Miyazaki hold 82.98% and 9.94% stake in Media Japan Co., Ltd. For the year ended September 30, 2016, Media Japan Co., Ltd. had total assets of ¥114.21 million, net liabilities of (¥59.14 million), sales of ¥211.17 million, operating loss of ¥9.65 million, and net income of ¥26.06 million. The transaction was resolved by the Board of FueTrek Co., Ltd. on June 19, 2017 and is expected to close on July 3, 2017. FueTrek Co., Ltd. will pay ¥1 million of advisory costs in the transaction.
