FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) _ FirstCash Holdings, Inc (FCFS) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $86.1 million.

The Fort Worth, Texas-based company said it had profit of $1.81 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $1.08 per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 93 cents per share.

The pawn store posted revenue of $647.6 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $636.9 million.
