Enel SpA said Friday that its energy-services business line Enel X has formed a 50-50 joint venture with Sterling and Wilson Pvt. Ltd. for the deployment of electric-vehicle-charging infrastructure in India.
The Rome-based energy player said the JV is expected to be incorporated on April 1 and start operating from the second quarter.
Sterling and Wilson is an engineering, procurement and construction company based in Mumbai.
