Econocom announces a disposal project
of its stake in digital.security
On 27 july 2020 Econocom announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Atos for the sale of its stake in the capital of its subsidiary digital.security.
digital.security, a specialist in digital risk management and Europe's leading CERTTM, which currently employs 250 consultants, generated revenue of nearly EUR 29 million in 2019. Econocom, the Digital General Contractor (DGC), will continue to work with digital.security for its customers' projects that include a cyber security dimension.
This sale will contribute to Econocom's objective of reducing its Net book Debt to zero.
digital.security's employee representative bodies will be consulted in the coming days in order to present the proposed sale to them.
