NEW YORK, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cohen & Steers Global Income Builder, Inc. (NYSE: INB) announced today that it commenced repurchasing outstanding common shares as part of a share repurchase program. The program, which authorized the repurchase of up to 10% of the fund's outstanding common shares, has resulted in repurchases of 293,100 shares during the period September 30, 2008 through October 27, 2008. Repurchases are made at management's discretion and no assurance can be made that management will repurchase additional shares.
