Cognizant has promoted two senior executives while splitting the global growth markets (GGM) leadership role post president Rob Walker's exit last month. The GGM role is now split between current global head of large deals and 18-year company veteran Manoj Mehta and CEO of Asia Pacific Jane Livesey, according to an internal mail sent to employees. Both executives will be joining Cognizant's executive committee.

Mehta has been named head of Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), representing commercial and delivery interests in northern, central and southern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Livesey has been appointed as head of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), overseeing commercial and delivery interests in Australia, New Zealand, Greater China, India and Japan.
