Cognizant has appointed six women leaders--both through internal promotions and new hires--to senior vice president (SVP) roles. Elisa de Rocca-Serra, Thea Hayden, Patricia (Trish) Hunter-Dennehy, Sailaja Josyula, Sandra Natardonato and Archana Ramanakumar have been appointed to the roles. Elisa de Rocca-Serra will be SVP, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) general counsel and contract lifecycle risk management (CLRM).

In her newly expanded role, she is responsible for driving improved operational and financial outcomes by managing commercial risk throughout the entire client contract lifecycle. Rocca-Serra joined Cognizant in 2021.Thea Hayden is now the SVP of global marketing. The team she leads is responsible for the Cognizant brand, design and creative services, social media, thought leadership and research.

Hayden joined Cognizant in 2020. Patricia (Trish) Hunter-Dennehy was promoted to SVP of healthcare provider and payor business unit. Hunter-Dennehy's team supports the overall administration of healthcare in the U.S., including healthcare delivery.

She joined Cognizant in 2015 as part of the TriZetto acquisition. Sailaja Josyula was also promoted and is now the SVP of intuitive operations and automation (IOA) for the banking, financial services, insurance (BFSI) industry for the commercial markets in North America as well as global delivery. She is also the centre head for Hyderabad.

She joined Cognizant in 2018. Earlier this month, Archana Ramanakumar rejoined Cognizant as SVP, Industry Solutions Group (ISG). Ramanakumar left Cognizant in 2020 after joining initially in 1996.

Sandra Natardonato also joined Cognizant as SVP of partnerships and alliances earlier this month. Natardonato had previously spent 15 years with Gartner.
