COFCO Joycome Foods Ltd, formerly COFCO Meat Holdings Ltd, is an investment holding company. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is principally engaged in the pork business and the international trading business. The Company mainly operates through four segments. Hog Production segment is engaged in the sales of live hogs. Fresh Pork segment is engaged in the sales of fresh chilled and frozen pork products. Processed Meat Products segment includes sales of processed meat products. Meat Import segment includes sales of imported frozen meat products, such as pork, beef, mutton, lamb and poultry. The Company distributes its products to distributors, wholesalers, hypermarkets, supermarkets, food processors, restaurants, as well as canteens, among others.
