CJW International Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 318.858 million compared to TWD 318.528 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 155.487 million compared to TWD 2.396 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 163.279 million compared to net income of TWD 1.181 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.21 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.01 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,340.935 million compared to TWD 959.326 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 220.790 million compared to TWD 41.099 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 268.985 million compared to TWD 34.456 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.99 compared to TWD 0.25 a year ago.
CJW International Co Ltd, formerly CADAC ELECTRONIC CO., LTD., is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the design, processing and distribution of fine jewelry. The Company mainly provides corallites and gems. Its jewelry products are design and processed by subcontractors. The Company purchases raw materials such as demands, corals and jade from domestic and foreign suppliers. In addition, it is also involved in the manufacture of printed circuit boards (PCBs), as well as retail of cigarettes and liquors. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
