CJW International Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 59.328 million compared to TWD 458.514 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 155.340 million compared to operating Income of TWD 8.214 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 165.348 million compared to net income of TWD 1.581 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.22 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.01 a year ago.
CJW International Co Ltd, formerly CADAC ELECTRONIC CO., LTD., is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the design, processing and distribution of fine jewelry. The Company mainly provides corallites and gems. Its jewelry products are design and processed by subcontractors. The Company purchases raw materials such as demands, corals and jade from domestic and foreign suppliers. In addition, it is also involved in the manufacture of printed circuit boards (PCBs), as well as retail of cigarettes and liquors. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
