China Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2020. For the full year, the company announced total revenue was TWD 2,244.267 million compared to TWD 2,714.264 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 143.783 million compared to TWD 245.136 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 325.825 million compared to TWD 232.366 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.05 compared to TWD 1.46 a year ago.
CHINA WIRE & CABLE CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of wires and cables, aluminum doors and windows and aluminum curtain walls. Its wires and cables include overhead transmission and distribution heat resisting aluminum wires, industrial aluminum wires and insulated cables and wires, among others. Its aluminum doors and windows include sound insulation doors and windows and sliding doors of SCHUCO series and TOSTEM series. Its curtain walls include glass series, stone series, aluminum series and others. The Company operates through two segments. The Cable and Wire segment manufactures and sells cables and wires. Door and Window segment manufactures, processes, sells and installs aluminum doors and windows and aluminum products. The Company mainly operates businesses in domestic market.
