Catering International Services : CIS received the “ 2017 Competitiveness Award “ by its client AREVA

On 15 June 2017, AREVA awarded 15 of its suppliers with the aim of enhancing and strengthening their partnership.

Mr. Jacques Peythieu, Director of AREVA's Mining BU, rewarded CIS with an 'AREVA Supplier Award' in the 'Competitiveness' category. AREVA recognized and appreciated the quality of the services provided by CIS and its responsiveness during mobilizations. The professionalism of CIS allowed it to be the only supplier selected in the mining BU.

As a reminder, CIS operates alongside AREVA in Kazakhstan and Niger.

Since 2014, CAC, our subsidiary in Kazakhstan, manages KATCO (joint venture with AREVA) mining sites : MUYUNKUM and TORTKUDUK in the south of the country. This contract reflects CIS's ability to provide a full range of integrated services.

Since 2016 in Niger, CIS assures the management of two mining sites: SOMAÏR and COMINAK (the world's largest uranium underground mine) located in the desert zone of Arlit, in the north of the country.
