EcoAct, the decarbonization subsidiary of Atos, announced on Monday the creation of a climate data analysis department to combine climate data science and impact analysis.

The aim of this entity is to create new modeling tools and provide digital solutions capable of assessing and managing the carbon and biodiversity footprints of their activities, as well as the associated risks and opportunities, as accurately as possible.

Nadège Lespagnol will head up this new activity. With a background in statistical and digital engineering, she spent 22 years working in the banking and insurance sector, more specifically in financial risk management.

'Today, it's relevant to say that what can't be measured can't be improved. I am delighted to share my expertise and experience to strengthen EcoAct's multidisciplinary approach to combating climate disruption', she declared.

EcoAct supports public and private organizations in their decarbonization strategies.
