Bharat Road Network Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 973.48 million compared to INR 709.16 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 922.44 million compared to INR 720.15 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 1,328.64 million compared to INR 111.04 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 15.23 compared to INR 1.55 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 15.23 compared to INR 1.55 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 2,321.49 million compared to INR 1,726.3 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 2,534.2 million compared to INR 1,818.3 million a year ago. It is engaged in a single business segment of purchase, own, build, develop, design, operate, transfer road and related services. It is focused on development, implementation, operation and maintenance of National and State Highways. It has three business operation categories: project development and implementation, tolling operations and highway management, and advisory services and project management services, including construction supervision/debt syndication for the Company's projects. It has developed, operated and maintained seven BOT projects covering over 2250 lane kilometers (km) of roads and highways in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Odisha.
