Beneteau shares rose sharply on Tuesday, following the announcement of 23% growth in its 2022 annual sales.

Last night, the pleasure boat manufacturer reported sales of 1.51 billion euros for last year, compared with 1.23 billion for fiscal 2021.

The Group explains that the acceleration in the pace of deliveries at the end of the year resulted in sales of 476 million euros in the fourth quarter alone, an increase of 56.6%.

This performance enabled Beneteau to clear the backlog of invoices caused by supply difficulties at the beginning of the year.

For 2023, Beneteau confirmed its sales forecast of over 1.66 billion euros, representing growth of over 10% compared to the better-than-expected 2022 sales.

Following this publication, the share price was up 3.2% at midday on Tuesday on the Paris Bourse.
