Platinum Equity, LLC acquired Centerfield Media Holdings, LLC from H.I.G. Growth Partners, LLC and others on January 13, 2020. Centerfield will continue to be led by co-Chief Executive Officer and co-founders Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen. The company has more than 1,000 employees and is headquartered in Los Angeles with additional offices in Boston, New York, South Florida, and Kingston and Montego Bay, Jamaica. Federal Trade Commission granted an early termination notice of antitrust approval waiting period. Sanjay Chadda, JP Michaud, Dylan Kearns, and Peter Sullivan of Petsky Prunier LLC acted as exclusive financial advisor to Centerfield.
