"Donnie's range of experience in financial services, as well as being deeply respected in the Little Rock region, will benefit our customers as he takes on this key leadership role"

Bank of America today announced that Donald (Donnie) Cook has been named Arkansas state president in addition to his role as Little Rock market president. Cook succeeds E. Wilson Moore, who led the state for nine years and will continue in his role as market executive in Middle Market banking.

As state president, Cook will serve as the company's enterprise leader throughout Arkansas. He will work across the region to help deliver a wide range of global financial services to individuals and businesses locally, as well as deepen relationships with existing customers. He will also oversee corporate social responsibility activities including philanthropic giving, community development lending and investing, environmental initiatives, diversity efforts, arts and culture projects, financial education and employee volunteerism.

"Donnie's range of experience in financial services, as well as being deeply respected in the Little Rock region, will benefit our customers as he takes on this key leadership role," said Bank of America Chief Executive Officer Brian Moynihan. "As Arkansas president, Donnie will continue to leverage our local resources and talented team to support the needs of our clients as well as serve the community."

In addition to his responsibilities as market and state president, Cook serves as senior vice president for Health Care and Institutional banking in Little Rock. He is responsible for the development and management of commercial banking relationships for not-for-profit entities, religious organizations and not-forprofit health care.

Cook has more than 40 years of banking experience with Bank of America. During his career, his roles have included management responsibilities in treasury management, correspondent banking, commercial lending, consumer banking, government banking and specialized industries. A native of North Little Rock, he attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway as well as completed various Bank Administration Institute educational courses.

He currently serves on the boards of Economics Arkansas and Fifty for the Future, and as secretary of Central Arkansas Boys and Girls Club Wetherington Foundation. He is also senior board member of Central Arkansas Boys and Girls Club and the State of Arkansas War Memorial Stadium Commission.

Last year, Bank of America employees in Arkansas volunteered nearly 6,000 hours to local nonprofits and continue to play a major role in philanthropic initiatives, including United Way and Habitat for Humanity. More than $850,000 in philanthropic giving in 2013 helped nonprofit community organizations develop and grow, including those that provide basic human services such as hunger relief and housing assistance.
