Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, S. A reported earnings results for the month and year to date ended November 2011. For the month, the company reported net interest income of PAB 8,776,460, operating income of PAB 17,571,320 and net income of PAB 7,616,130 against interest income of PAB 10,454,390, operating income of PAB 17,426,900 and net income of PAB 13,360,940 for the month of October 2011.
For the year to date, the company reported interest income of PAB 91,018,980, operating income of PAB 152,139,490 and net income of PAB 97,044,180.
Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, S.A. (the Bank) is a specialized multinational bank. The Bank is established to support the financing of trade and economic integration in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Company operates in two segments: Commercial and Treasury. The Bank's Commercial segment incorporates all of the Bank's financial intermediation and fees generated by the commercial portfolio activities, such as origination of bilateral and syndicated credits, short- and medium-term loans, acceptances and contingent credits.
